1. Sign into Connect

  1. On the verify page, look for the arrow next to the Okta icon to view the drop-down menu.

  1. Select “SMS Authentication” instead of “Okta Verify”
  2. Now you can click “Send Code” to receive a text message with a 6-digit code inside.
  3. Type the code in the verify and login to your Connect account.

  1. When you are logged in, click on your name in the top-right corner, then click on “Settings”

  1. You want to scroll down to the “Extra Verification” section and find “Okta Verify”

  1. Click “Remove” for “Okta Verify” (this is your old phone!)
  2. It may ask for your password again to confirm you want to make this change.
  3. After you remove the old phone, the button next to Okta Verify should say “Enable” or “Add”
  4. Click “Enable” and follow the prompts on your screen to get the QR code.
  5. On your phone, open Okta Verify and tap:
    1. Add an account (+) > Organization > Skip > Ready to Scan > (scan the QR code) > (allow push notifications and Face ID)
  6. Now your new phone is synced to your Connect account and you will receive push notifications to it again!
