- Sign into Connect
- On the verify page, look for the arrow next to the Okta icon to view the drop-down menu.
- Select “SMS Authentication” instead of “Okta Verify”
- Now you can click “Send Code” to receive a text message with a 6-digit code inside.
- Type the code in the verify and login to your Connect account.
- When you are logged in, click on your name in the top-right corner, then click on “Settings”
- You want to scroll down to the “Extra Verification” section and find “Okta Verify”
- Click “Remove” for “Okta Verify” (this is your old phone!)
- It may ask for your password again to confirm you want to make this change.
- After you remove the old phone, the button next to Okta Verify should say “Enable” or “Add”
- Click “Enable” and follow the prompts on your screen to get the QR code.
- On your phone, open Okta Verify and tap:
- Add an account (+) > Organization > Skip > Ready to Scan > (scan the QR code) > (allow push notifications and Face ID)
- Now your new phone is synced to your Connect account and you will receive push notifications to it again!
