The IT Help Team offers the following services:
• Install printer drivers for office copiers
• Set up company email in Outlook, phones and devices
• Set up access to real estate platforms, such as, MLS, Zipforms, RealScout, Market
Center, Docusign, Access.sir.com, DASH, etc.
• Troubleshooting of email issues on ggsir.com email accounts
• Initial troubleshooting of software issues
• Troubleshooting office phone or Internet connectivity issues
• Recommend next steps for outside professional if beyond the scope of GGSIR IT
department, billing direct to agent by vendor
The following types of services would be referred to an outside professional:
• Out of the box set up of new computers
• Purchase of computers
• Repair of hardware problems including installing RAM
• Installation or upgrade of Operating Systems
• Migration of users/data from old hard drive/computer to new hard drive/computer
• Set up/troubleshooting of problems of agent’s personal email provider or personal
websites
Recommended Specs for PCs and Mac Computers
• 16 GB RAM highly recommended, Minimum 8 GB RAM
• Solid State Hard Drive (SSD) preferred. Storage size dependent on individual needs, but
generally recommend 500 GB, minimum 250 GB.
• i5 or i7 processor recommended. i9 processor only if cost is no object.
• Windows Professional (not Home edition) 10 Operating System for PCs. Note: Windows
7 won’t be supported starting January 2020.
• Current OS for Macs.
• Install Microsoft Office Subscription that includes Outlook that will manage multiple
email profiles. Subscription recommended so that updates are included and can stay
current with GGSIR Microsoft Exchange Email Server.
• For additional protection we recommend computers are protected by an antivirus.
Please install a paid comprehensive antivirus solution to protect your devices. Such as
Trend Micro Antivirus. As threats continue to evolve, we recommend antivirus
protection for Windows and Mac.
